God has called The Family Church to educate, train and mentor the next generation of leaders in order to reach a lost and dying world.

Reaching the next generation has been one of TFC's greatest passions and out of that passion has come Life Training Center.

A 2 year Bible and Ministry training school who’s students are “called to make a difference and equipped to leave a mark.” (Heb. 12:1)

Testimonials

The Life Training Center far exceeded all my expectations and was the most rewarding “YES” I ever said to God. In those two years I made long lasting friendships, was challenged in almost every area of my life and learned the ins and outs of full time ministry. My heart is filled with so much gratitude for this program because God was not only sharpening me spiritually and in my character, but He was also preparing me for the opportunity I have now working in ministry. There are so many experiences that took place -- good, hard, and funny, but the best part of it all was learning about the gifts God has given me to further HIS kingdom. After LTC, I feel equipped and encouraged for what God has called me to do in this season of my life. It is such a privilege to serve God, and who knew that our “YES” to God could have so many lives attached to it!

LTC showed me that God doesn’t seek perfection, but seeks a willing heart to just say YES! All my life I’ve been know as a quitter, LTC showed me what it means to keep saying yes even when it doesn’t make sense in the physical. That vulnerability doesn’t make me weak, but it actually makes me bold and relatable to those who are scared to speak up due to fear of rejection and judgement on their past. LTC equips you with the tools we don’t think we need for ministry, it surrounds you with an amazing group of leaders who love you and challenge you daily. Your classmates become your brothers and sisters, these are people who have the same heart as you to serve God and grow a deeper relationship with Him! I can honestly say LTC was the most challenging yet amazing two years of my life, and I wouldn’t change a thing. It took a huge leap of faith joining LTC, at the time It didn’t make sense, but sometimes doing the things that don’t make sense in obedience makes the biggest impact on your life. I just encourage anyone who wants to join this next class, don’t second guess yourself; things seem safe and may look good on paper but it doesn’t mean that’s where God's calling you. The unknown is scary but God has already laid a path for you, just trust God and just say YES!

Being in LTC was an amazing experience! It was an opportunity not just for me to gain biblical knowledge, but to also experience hands on ministry training and learning the ins and out of running a church. This program has shown me the importance of intimacy with the Father and how to really grow in my relationship with Him. Being in this program helped me know God for myself and not just know Him through other people’s experiences. LTC will help you look into your life and uproot the things that are holding you down from reaching your full potential in Christ, but the most important thing I learned through the two years spent in this program was what I am called to do, which is to love Him and to serve His people.

LTC was a life changing experience for me. My senior year of high school I felt like God was calling me to something more I just didn’t know what that fully meant or even what to do. When I heard about LTC I felt like that was my next step, I stepped out and God wrecked my world. I learned so much about Him and so much about who He has called me to be. Through this program I was able to be equipped for the ministry God had placed in my life. Leaving what I know to follow God blindly into this program wasn’t easy, but it’s the best decision I’ve ever made in my life. I’m two years into ministry and everyday I’m grateful for all the experiences in learned throughout LTC.

LTC was life changing for me , it helped me grow in my relationship with God in a number of ways, one was being able to receive in depth teachings from our lead pastors in a classroom setting. Having a dialogue with our lead pastors was a great way to grow in my knowledge of the word. LTC showed me how ministries work, from planning to running events, it is a great way to prepare you for full time ministry in a church environment. The biggest thing however, was learning how to hear from God and move by the Spirit of God in time of personal and group prayer. If you desire growth, discipline, and want to take your relationship with God to the next level, step out in faith and see what God can do through you.

Besides building new relationships and making long life friends, I got to experience God at a whole different level in this program. I say that because you will basically be isolated from the many distractions of the world and put into an LTC bubble. The structure of the program and the pushing out of distractions is totally necessary though, because of it I can say that being a part of LTC has completely changed my life. If you don't know the purpose/calling on your life then being in this bubble will surely help you find it if that's your desire. If you choose to do this program I greatly encourage you to leave anything and everything at the front door, choose to come in with ZERO back up plans aimed at "in case this doesn't work", making these adjustments will allow you to have a flourishing experience, and will aid you in achieving whatever it is God has called you to do while being a part of this.

Choosing to take part in the second season of LTC was single-handlely the best decision I've made besides accepting Jesus into my life. LTC is an incredibly rigorous worthwhile program designed to prune away the old to make way for God has as you begin stepping into the call He has for your life. I always describe the experience as "being uncomfortably aware of what you aren't good at for 2 years." Now, you may be sitting here reading this and thinking "Why on earth would I ever sign up for anything like that?" Because you experience the greatest level of growth when you step out of your comfort zone. John chapter 15 verses 1 and 2 say "I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit." God's will for your life begins when you say yes to his pruning, and LTC is a one of a kind opportunity to not only begin that pruning process, but dive into a deeper relationship with the father, a level surpassing anything you've ever experienced before. LTC not only strengthened my relationship with God, my family and friends; but developed, equipped and prepared me for a life of full time Ministry both at work and home. My desire for anyone reading this is for you to step into your calling as well, whether that be in ministry or not. LTC has something for absolutely everyone and if you've legitimately felt God tugging you in this direction don't ignore it!
